How do I set up OCC for different languages on 1 website?

To set up OCC to work on multi-language sites, simply create an additional department for each language.

 

Do this in your Account Dashboard under Setup > Basic Settings > Departments/Websites.

 

Once you do that you can customize all settings for each language (department), including:

  • Online/offline icons
  • Chat invites
  • Chat request form
  • All chat window text
  • Canned messages
  • Banners
